The photoshoot.

 THE PHOTOSHOOT.

After reserching the wide range of magazines such as VIBE and Blender and allowing myself to gain as much basic knowledge as I can about the layout and structure of the magazines. I then decided to get myself a camera and started taking as many pictures as possible of one of my freinds that was now going to be my magazine model. Before I took the pictures we as partners decided what poses we were going to use in order to capture the attention of the audience as much as possible and also thought about the enviroment we wouold be sorrounded by.



I really was interested in this shot in becoming my
the front cover photoshoot.As you can see the character is directly
pointing towards the center of the page as if the character is almost
pointing towards the audience. I think this photocan have a strong effect towards the audiences
attention.



Here I took a range of pictures that will be suitable for my magazine. These shots were mainly focused on the front cover of my music magazine. I think all of these pictures have the potential to be the front cover shot.

Research - The Questionnaire

As part of my research i decided to take a questionnaire consisting of 25-30 of my class mates. The questionnaire was designed using microsoft excel. I did this questionnaire because I was not fully statisfied with information I had received throughout my research. I thought this would be a fantastic way to get myself some extra research and information on what people expect people when buying a music magazine.

THE FONTS.

After completing the research and photoshoot I decided to focus on the fonts and to come up with different font designs. I created several font designs. The font was was of the most important features I think onn the magazine. The font plays an important role in attracting the readers attention quickly and effectively. With them right colours used and the right font it would definetly capture the readers attention. I experimented using photoshoot the different design fonts i could come up with or could have the potential to be used within my magazine.
